The Stewardship Event will highlight the importance of community-based coastal restoration by engaging Symposium participants directly in hands-on habitat restoration work. Erie MetroParks is designing a new "window on wildlife" education space at their Nature Center. Participants will help with on-site stewardship activities including site preparation and planting native seeds for a pollinator garden.
*This is an all-weather event - come prepared with layers, a rain jacket, and waterproof shoes. Light refreshments will be provided, and a carpool sign-up will be organized to support logistics.
